The original was the second or third image i ever drew with a Bamboo tablet. Used primarily pencils before that, and never used color at all. New version is done with the same tablet, but a slightly improved understanding of color and composition. First drawing in months though, been so busy with college
really glad for the practice. Been seriously lacking lately.
I've never redrawn an old drawing before, rarely even repeat the same subject, but it's pretty cool to see a comparison of sorts. Maybe i'll do this kinda thing more often. Considering submitting another one, maybe stick closer to the original image since it's a portrait.
